UK — . On November 11, 2019, 300 Labour party activists and supporters launched a declaration on women’s sex-based rights. Paula Boulton, a spokeswoman for the group, noted that Labour’s commitment in 2017 to reform the Gender Recognition Act (GRA) has not been audited for its effect on women and girls.
Many are concerned that the proposals would erode women’s sex-based rights to single-sex facilities, such as hospital wards, toilets, changing rooms, services for survivors of domestic violence and rape, and prisons. However, those raising any misgivings often face accusations of bigotry and of committing hate crimes.
Women have a right to respond to these proposals, and anything that affects us, without censure. We’d like to reframe the conversation to ensure that women’s sex-based rights are protected and given due consideration when formulating future Labour policy, particularly with respect to any reform of the GRA or the Equality Act.

The declaration is in the form of a petition, and asks all who agree to sign it. As of this writing, it has received approximately 2,600 signatures.
The declaration states that women and girls are subject to discrimination and oppression on the basis of their sex; women have the right to freedom of belief, freedom of expression and freedom of assembly; women have the right to discuss policies which affect them, without being abused, harassed or intimidated; women have the right to maintain their sex-based protections, as set out in the Equality Act 2010; and women have the right to participate in single-sex sports; women have the right to organise themselves, as a sex.
The declaration also “condemn[s] all attempts to undermine or limit the rights of women to self-organise and call[s] on the Labour Party and the trades union movement to actively support these essential freedoms”.

Hundreds of Labour Party activists and supporters – including three Scottish MSPs – have signed a declaration on women’s sex-based rights, just a day after a group of Scottish Labour women wrote to Richard Leonard raising concerns about how the party was supporting transgender people.
Notice the clenched fist facing front? That’s the Marxist salute, identifying the person or persons as Marxist societal sabotage operatives. The salute was created in 1936 civil war Spain by the Marxist ‘Republicans’, who countered the nationalists’ salute (raised arm with palm facing front) by clenching the fingers and thumb.
Since Paula Boulton and fellow Labour activists don’t inform us that persistent ‘transgender’ feelings are psychotic, therefore she can be accused of bigotry and hatred, since if ‘transgender’ aren’t suffering a psychological malady, then ‘transgender’ individuals are the opposite sex.
Paula Boulton and company are what Marxists call the ‘false opposition’, present to co-opt the opposition into their ranks, while all the time no change is taking place, change in this particular situation being identifying ‘transgender’ victims as psychotic.

We can tell by your last three comments that you take issue with Marxism, and your prior two that you take issue with climate change and gays and lesbians.
We have no interest in fielding arguments between Rightists and Leftists on the issue of Marxism on this website. It’s not the topic. The debate on climate change is important, but not the topic.
On LGB, I believe that it’s a natural and inalienable human liberty for a human to select the partner that he or she wishes to spend life with and engage in sexual intimacy with. I do not believe that a just government makes laws abridging this freedom. If a lesbian marries a man out of legal and social mandate, that means the horror of being subjected to rape regularly for the rest of her life. If a gay man marries a woman out of legal and social obligation, and engages in intimacy with multiple men in order to reduce exposure, that would comprise the medical and psychological health of his family. I see no benefit to individuals or society to try to force people to be in a romantic and sexual relationship with those who fall outside of their orientation. I can’t force anyone to agree with my conclusion, but comment sections on this website are not meant for debates that are not about the wide-reaching implications of gender identity.
No doubt the likes of Madigan are going to scream about it being literal violence and how hard done to he and all the other narcissists are, dropping statistics based on trans individuals from a demographic that he doesn’t belong to as “evidence” as to why women are to have their protections stripped away.
The trans movement is the only civil movement to ever demand that the hard won rights and protections of a marginalised group are stripped away. It’s absolutely diabolical that they are getting so far with dismantling women’s rights and getting so many people to agree that the emperor is absolutely fully dressed and is wearing the finest clothes of all. I know a lot of trans individuals, and not one has experienced any violence. However, I know several who have sexually assaulted women from the social circles I move in. The same ones and several more have threatened violence, such as one bringing a knife to social gatherings planning to stab another friend over a disagreement about cars. Another gouged a friend’s dog in the head with his car keys and then denied it when the dog screamed in pain and people realised what he did. Another tried to force me to have sex with him by laying it on thick about how anyone who won’t have sex with him is a bigot.
Basically, I have AMPLE personal evidence that we absolutely have good reason to want to exclude these people from the inner sanctums of women’s safety. They are not safe to allow in women’s changing rooms, prisons, refuges, hospital wards. The “bad ones”, the ill faith AGPs don’t just exist in newspaper articles, they are common, and they are as big a threat as any man displaying the same disordered personality. We deserve the scant safety afforded us by keeping a line in the sand. Sure, plenty of criminals access women’s facilities without pretending to be female to get in there, but at least keeping those facilities as being strictly for real females gives us that first line of defence of being allowed to say “you aren’t allowed in here”. Currently, if you were to report a man in the women’s changing rooms, you’d instantly be told “how could you tell if they were a man?” and called a bigot. The fact that men have made this victory so easily is a perfect example that they absolutely do not surrender any of the power that their wield when they slap on that blue lipstick. They just found another way to wrestle the little wins of women away from them and restore the absolute control over women that men had for all the previous millennia.
