ES; DE — . A transgender-identifying male named a most wanted fugitive in Spain and a most wanted criminal by Europol for Trafficking In Human Beings has been detained in Germany.
The arrest of Leudis Isaac Corro Camacho, who uses the nicknames ‘La Diabla’ (The Devil) or ‘Donatella’, was the result of a joint operation by Spanish and German police.
According to reports, Mr Corro Camacho would lure women and transgender-identifying individuals from his home country of Venezuela, promising to help them secure jobs in Spain.
Once the hapless individuals arrived, Mr Corro Camacho would tell them that “the Spaniards don’t want them fat,” and insist they undergo liposuction and breast enhancement procedures.
Following the operations, he would tell the Venezuelans they owed him 12,000 euros each, and lock them in flats in Oviedo and Barcelona. The captives were prostituted out in Spain and seasonally in Germany, until they could pay off the debt, which was often inflated through a system of sanctions and fines. Once the captives were no longer profitable to the mafia network, they were sold to pimps and a hostess club in Zaragoza, on the outskirts of Casp.
Police and the Civil Guard began investigating the criminal operation and its activities in Aragon, Asturias and Catalonia after a pregnant 18-year-old girl was rushed to the hospital in October 2020 following a beating, and another woman escaped an apartment in Asturias.

Mr Corro Camacho went on the run a year ago with his lover, a former German police officer.
The ex-boyfriend was arrested a month ago.
National Police ultimately tracked Mr Corro Camacho to Hamburg, Germany through anonymous tips sent in to Europe’s Most Wanted portal, as well as sex advertisements placed by the fugitive.
‘La Diabla’ whose nickname comes from a character in the Colombian telenovela Sin senos sí hay paraíso, will stand trial for charges related to human trafficking, money laundering and membership in a criminal organization.
