US — Lowell, Arkansas. A man who confessed to sexually assaulting a sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl with a sex toy was allowed to walk free without prison time.

Tanner Young, a 24-year-old man who identifies as a woman named Evelyn, has been sentenced to 10 years probation. He was additionally ordered to pay $1,500 in court fines and fees, complete a sex offender rehabilitation class and register as a sex offender.

According to the adolescent accuser, Mr Young complimented her on her appearance. Turning to face him, the adolescent discovered Mr Young masturbating to pornography.

Mr Young asked to cuddle with the adolescent, and she declined.

He then approached the girl and sexually assaulted her genitals with a sex toy. To gauge her reaction, Mr Young backed away slightly, at which time the girl managed to escape.

Mr Young was arrested for the crime felony charge of sexual assault in the second-degree on May 11, 2018, and pleaded guilty in February 2019.

Judge Robin Green barred Mr Young from any contact with the victim. If he violates the terms of his probation, he could face up to 20 years in prison.
